With a
background in gymnastics and professional sport, I have been dancing
Tango Argentino since 1997, travelling regularly to Buenos Aires to
deepen my understanding of the culture and perfect my technique with
reknown maestros.
I have complemented my tango training with yoga, Pilates, contemporary dance and acting, elements of which are woven into my teaching method.
Between 2002 and 2008 I have been part of Tiempo de Tango, the leading tango company in the UK with which I have been touring the country with different productions.
I was also the resident teacher of one of the main tango argentino venues in London (Zero Hour UK) and gave workshops and performances around the UK and Europe with a variety of partners.
Since 2008 my base has been in Buenos Aires and I travel to Europe to teach and perform for 2-3 months a year.
More recently, in may 2009 I organised together with my then-dance partner Julio Mendez the Tango Festival Alghero in Italy.
In november-dicember 2009 I toured Italy parnering el Pibe Avellaneda.
